The following notice has been sent to LOSRA by our County Councillor, Buddhi Weerasinghe:

"I wanted to update you that the Spelthorne Parking Review, which includes Lower Sunbury, is now open for public consultation until 28 November 2025. Surrey Highways has completed the formal notices, letter drops, and street signage.

"Grateful if you could share the link with LOSRA members so they can review the proposals and submit comments via the online form:

Double Yellow lines are URGENTLY needed on the corners of Nursery road and Nursery Gardens, same as what has been done on Southland Ave and Nursery Gardens. Nursery Gardens is directly opposite Sunbury Manor school entrance gates.
When parents drop off and pick up their children they park on the corners of Nursey road and Nursery Gardens
and its very dangerous trying to get out of Nursery Gardens into Nursery road in school pick up times etc.
I had a serious incident when i tried to drive into Nursery Gardens from Nursery road at about 9am one school morning, at the same time a White van wanted to come out of Nursery gardens into nursery road, the driver would not reverse back, subsequently i had to reverse back into what is a very busy road !
Please can we have some action on this very dangerous junction.
