I am totally behind 'The Black lives matter' protests. However anybody who knows the history of these Sunbury sons will know that they do not fit the bill of men who treated native people with disrespect, on the contrary they saved many native lives. If there is a problem with our lovely Lendy memorial I suggest that the true story be printed on the memorial.

This is a magnificent Memorial/Statue to 2 local men killed while out in Africa, serving as best they could.
Two sons remembered by their local Sunbury Father.

Have been wondering for some while re the most effective way how to start a petition and here it is! Thanks so much Philip (and one other!) for organising this petition!
