SCC.jpg - 40.30 kBSurrey County Council is proposing significant speed limit reductions in Lower Sunbury and surrounding areas in the hope of improving road safety, including reducing the A308 Staines Road East from 40mph to 30mph on a stretch between The Avenue and the Richmond upon Thames county/borough boundary.

Feedback on the A308 proposal is welcome through to April 24th.

    I dont think it’s necessary. That road is so often being dug up or flooded or just tailing back through sheer volume of traffic, you would be lucky to be driving at 30 let alone 40. Let’s keep traffic flowing please
