Pavement Repairs in Thames Street to Start 2nd July for 5 Weeks

LoSRA has received a notice from County Councillor Tim Evans which announces pavement repairs in Thames Street commencing 2nd July.

    Please tell us this is not going to mean the village losing it's bus service for yet another extended period.

    Not all non-driving residents can walk easily to or from the War Memorial/Salvation Army bus stops when the 216 diversion via French Street is in place.

    Why can't they go back to diverting via the Avenue?

    What stupid planning to undertake these works during the Hampton Court flower show well done Surrey Highways another winner !!

    Also 5 weeks to undertake the 5 wow talk about not rushing

    The section of Church Street from the Fire Station estate to Thames Street is worse. Not only very uneven but it slopes into the road making it difficult for wheelchairs.
